What is Gilbert Connections?

We are a non-profit LLC business networking and leads group.  We meet twice each month for the sole purpose of sharing high-quality business leads with each other.  To ensure the best return for your investment, we limit membership to one business per industry category.  We are always recruiting new businesses to the group, so please share the word with quality business owners in your network.
 

Is Gilbert Connections like a BNI group?

We are similar to a BNI group in that we only accept one business per industry category.  We also encourage you to conduct business within the group whenever possible, but we do not limit your ability to refer other non-Gilbert Connections businesses when you feel that’s appropriate.  We also do not require that you limit your networking to Gilbert Connections alone.  But we know that you’ll find the best business leads here!
 

How can Gilbert Connections benefit my business?

We all need high-quality leads to keep our businesses growing.  Cold calls and mass mailings are a hit-or-miss proposition.  Of all the dollars you spend on these advertisements, only a few are directed to people who are actually interested in your services. 

Networking with other business professionals increases the quality of the leads you’ll receive.  You’re also much more likely to convert these types of leads to sales.  And a nice fringe benefit of networking is finding high-quality businesses for your own business and personal needs!
 

What fees are required to join?

Gilbert Connections has some of the most reasonable membership fees in town!  There is a $30 application fee, plus quarterly dues of $80.  Application fee and dues are non-refundable.  Lunch is included in your dues.
 

Why do you have an attendance policy?

Business networking only works when everyone in the group is committed to each other’s success.  If you’re not here, we can’t learn about your business… and you can’t learn about ours.  Our attendance policy is very reasonable – up to two absences per quarter.  You are also welcome to send an employee or representative from your business in your place to avoid the absence. 
 

I own two businesses – can I represent both at Gilbert Connections?

For the sake of quality networking, we limit membership to one business per person.  You are, however, more than welcome to have a representative from your second business attend as the contact for that business.  But you will need to apply for membership for each business separately.
